What additional thoughts would you like to add on your building project? While we love our "Hut", the cost involved in taking an unconventional shell and building a conventional interior was very high. If I had done the work myself instead of hiring a GC, it would have been more reasonable. Even though the uniqueness makes it worthwhile and the remote location had a major impact on cost, financially speaking, I would have been better off with a conventional structure. The "hut" as we call it is totally self sufficient. There are solar panels and an inverter for power. Also, a 100 pound propane tank for the gas logs, tankless water heater, and gas stove. We collect rainwater runoff from the hut and store it in underground tanks for toilet, shower, and washing.

How was you experience with our sales and service teams? Sales people were great. No comment on the delivery truck driver at this time. Support could have dropped a few more hints on assembly, (which I learned the hard way).
Would you recommend SteelMaster to your family and friends? Yes, It is a great building for the price.
What additional thoughts would you like to add on your building project? I learned a lot on this first assembly. The next one would go together a lot smoother. I can share later about this if you would like.
